Privacy notice

Your information, handled with care.

This notice explains what personal information SolarLions processes through this website, why we use it and the choices available to you.

1. Who is responsible

SolarLions is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at the address or email shown on this page with questions or requests concerning your information.

2. Information we collect

When you submit a project enquiry, we receive the information you enter in the form.

  • Name and email address
  • Organisation, when provided
  • Country or project location
  • Project type and estimated capacity, when provided
  • Project description and any other information you include
  • Confirmation that you agreed to the use of the information for the enquiry
  • Limited technical data processed by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser information, request time and diagnostic logs

3. How and why we use it

We use this information to assess and respond to your enquiry, communicate about a potential project or business relationship, maintain the security and reliability of the website, and meet legal obligations where applicable.

Depending on the context and applicable law, the processing is based on your consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Contact form and email delivery

The website sends completed contact forms to SolarLions by email. We use Resend as the technical email-delivery provider. Form details may therefore be processed by Resend and its authorised subprocessors solely to deliver and secure that message.

5. Sharing your information

We limit access to people who need the information to handle your enquiry. We may also use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, infrastructure and security, and may disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities where legally required.

SolarLions does not sell or rent personal information and does not use contact-form details for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis.

6. International processing

Some technical providers may process information outside Morocco or outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use contractual or other recognised safeguards for international transfers. Resend states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States and describes its transfer safeguards in its Data Processing Addendum.

7. Retention

We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate the opportunity, manage a resulting business relationship, resolve disputes or meet legal and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised where practicable. Retention may vary with the nature and status of the enquiry.

8. Cookies and technical logs

At the date of this notice, SolarLions does not intentionally use optional advertising or audience-analytics cookies on the public website. Hosting and security providers may process essential technical information and logs needed to deliver, protect and diagnose the service.

9. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the competent data-protection authority.

  • Contact SolarLions using the email address on this page
  • Describe your request and the information concerned
  • We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before acting on the request

11. Children and updates

This website is intended for professional and business enquiries and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children.

We may update this notice when the website, our processing or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
